Private authorized guide
Caterina decided to become a guide and took her license in year 2000 after many work experiences in tourism. She majored in languages and foreign literatures, but she also studied other subjects such as history, art history and archeology. She keeps updating herself on different topics by going to conferences. In this regard, she tries to raise awareness among her guests by making them aware of the problems that Venice is suffering from, trying to arouse in them respect for this city, whose uniqueness must be preserved.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
— Anne and Roger Hughes
"Dear Caterina, we are the Canadian family of seven adults and five children whom you took through the Doge's Palace and the Basicalla on August 7th. This note is to let you know again how much we appreciated the tour and your attention to one of the children who was feeling a little bit woozy for awhile. You can be sure that if we know of anyone who is looking for a tour guide in Venice, we will be passing along your name. Thank you again."
